Meet Our Instructors


Kristina Stapchuk, Piano Instructor - Irvine

At age 6, Kristina began her piano journey with an interest in both classical and jazz music. She graduated from Orange County High School of the Performing Arts with a desire to share her love for the arts. She has volunteered at OCHSA Camps as an acting instructor for elementary school children and has also worked at a children’s talent agency in Japan teaching elementary and middle school students hip-hop and jazz. She loves children and is excited to make each piano lesson a fun and memorable experience.


Brenda AguileraPiano Instructor - Lake Forest

Brenda has has been playing piano since she was 6 years old. She has completed Certificate of Merit up to level 9 and is experienced in performing baroque, classical, romantic, and jazz. She has tutored elementary children in all subjects and has also worked with children at pumpkin patches. While attending school, Brenda loves to share her love for piano and is exited to help her students develop that same love.


Marissa Van MalderenPiano Instructor - Irvine

Marissa has played with California Music Studios for 7 years. She has performed in bi-annual piano recitals along with piano recitals for the elderly in junction with the Music Students Service League. She loves piano and makes it her priority for every student to create that same love for piano. 


Claire Dallape, Piano Instructor - Laguna Niguel

Claire is a classical and contemporary trained pianist. She's been playing for 11 years, participating in yearly recitals and performing at holiday parties. From experience, she is a firm believer that having fun is a huge part of learning to play the piano and that learning to play really helps children improve in school.


Ida Farahmand, Piano Instructor - Trabuco Canyon

Ida understands the importance of making lessons fun and enjoyable for kids, as it was important to her when she learned. While getting her Law degree, she still teaches and has so much fun doing so!

Morgan Simmsgeiger, Founder

Morgan has played the piano for over 20 years and has been teaching the piano for over 9 years. Among many accomplishments, her most recent was winning "Top Talent" for her piano performance at the Miss Huntington Beach Pageant in March of 2017. Her passion is music and business. She founded Piano For Kids with a vision to see more children positively impacted through playing piano as she was growing up.
